About Turform Guide
The Turform Guide provides an independent, objective analysis of all declared runners at the overnight stage. Each race is headed by a racecard which gives form figures, any headgear or tongue strap to be worn, last run date, weight to be carried, Turform rating for that horse relative to the race conditions as well as name of trainer. Underneath the card is a listing of the runners, arranged in descending order of their likely finishing position, in Turform's opinion, the runner with the highest Turform rating listed first, the second highest rated next and so on. The Turform comments for each horse give a detailed appraisal of the horse's career including breeding details, physical description (flat only) and distance/going aptitudes.
Turform Guides can be downloaded by Users from 5pm on the day before racing, in the case of Sunday meetings these are usually available from 6pm on Friday. Each guide costs €5.00 and back issues can also be downloaded at a cost of €1.00.
